I just thought of this question . I was wondering if I could go to Quebec and get a similar experience to France and it just came to me . I also heard that the French lose their tempers more and the Quebecois less . Is that true ?
But which one do you mean is arrogant and stupid , Rafael ? Britain or the USA ?
Quebec and France are completely different. The only similarity between each others is that Quebeckers are mostly of french origin, speak french (a kind of french sound like the french spoke in france in 1700) and think more like frenchies than english canadians because of their latin origin. On everything else, Quebec is an north american province in a north american country while France is an european country. At all, Quebec has more similarities with United States than France itlself. While its population speaks french, Quebec’s economy and manner of living is based on economic exchanges with the United States and its manner of living is mostly based on the "american dream" than on the way of life of the european countries.
Their accent is not slang like the people from France.
French Canadians are basically Canadians.
They think, act, socialize, like a real Canadian does only in French language.
Ex: If I had a British accent I’m either from UK, AU, NZ
If I had a French Canadian accent, you will know. Only if you can speak French.

Ex: If I’m British and I was born in the U.S ofcourse I will grow up arrogant and stupid.
Quebec hates Canada and Canada hates Quebec.

Nick,…you made me chuckle a bit and I apologize….honestly !
You can go to "French Samoa" and it’ll be as different as "Quebec" is to France !
You can go to "New England" and "British Columbia" and they won’t even compare to not only each other but from "England" or "Britain"!
I know what you are trying to say but the French starting with John Cabot the first explorer have been in Canada for 400 years so as the previous person answered they are "Canadian" and not "European" while at the same time they both share a common language albeit a tad different !
We share a common language with Britain….but we have differences in our culture !
Hope that helps ya ! *S*

P.S………France explored this area first "Lower Canada" and the Brits established the 13 colonies and Spain did the (now)Texas area and Mexico essentially !
The 13 colonies rebel against the Brits and win and establish the U.S.A.
The U.S.A attacks the French (7 years war) and is pushed back…France still has Lower Canada !
The Brits have no assets in the New World and attack the French….whom are out of pretty well everything, guns, cannonballs , food and win at the Plains of Abraham and the two Generals are Wolfe (England ) and Montcalm (France)…..so The Brits take Upper Canada and France takes Lower Canada….and we become "Canada" !
"Canada" and the U.S. become good neighbors !! *S*
