What is the cheapest way to get to Vancouver from Quebec City? Plane, bus, train etc?

The question pretty much speaks for itself. I need to get to Vancouver from Quebec City, and I want to do it the cheapest way possible.
Any help/advice is much appreciated.

Bus would be cheapest but its a six day trip and pretty long and boring. Especially if you have to turn around and go back shortly after. It will be day and nite in the bus getting woke up every hour or so at stops and a full tank sloshing at the back.
http://www.greyhound.ca can give you rates.

Flying; west jet flies QC to Van thru Toronto one way will cost you about $500 by the time you have taxes and all in. http://www.westjet.com
Air Canada too flies that route. http://www.aircanada.com but usually neck and neck with westjet on pricing.
You might want to search http://www.expedia.ca as well in case you can get a flight from european airline picking up in QC and flying on to vancouver.

train is probably most expensive of all, takes days and you have to feed yourself on top of that so overall not the best route but nice vacation type trip.

Take a plane unless you have a lot of reading to catch up on. The extra cost is worth it to be there in just a few hours.

Greyhound. Unless the airlines are just giving away seats which happens every so often. I would call a few airlines and find out when the cheapest time to fly would be. I have flown from Calgary to Toronto for less than $200. It would take a few days to drive or take the bus, not sure about VIA Rail.
