North of New England, look for a city called ‘Toronto’ on the St. Louis river in the Northeastern part of North America. If it’s too hard, look north from New York City. Toronto is in Quebec, as well as Quebec City.

You might want to do some of the research yourself, because Toronto, Ontario is quite decidedly not in Quebec. Trusting us Yahoos here on Yahoo Answers can get you into trouble.
For extra credit, ask your teacher about the other places where French is spoken. Names of those places include Pondicherry, Haiti, Senegal, and Louisiana. If you look them up first you can be a blinkin’ know-it-all. Whoopie!

Lol, I am in Quebec right now. I can assure you that it is a province in Canada, to the east of Ontario and to the west of New Brunswick. Two of its major cities are Montreal (metropolis) and Quebec City (capital).
