Correct any French grammar mistakes!?

I’m in gr.9 French. I wrote a simple paragraph about my future. Can you read it and see if there are any grammatical mistakes and correct me please?

My Future

À l’avenir, Je veux devenir docteur de famille.
I want to become a family doctor in the future.

Pour devenir docteur, je dois aller à l’université et obtenir ma maîtrise en médecine de famille.
To become a doctor, I must go to university and get my master’s degree in family medicine.

Je dois habiter au Québec parce que je veux aller à l’université aux Montréal.
I must live in Quebec because I want to go to university in Montreal.

Je veux vivre dans une maison magnifique avec une piscine.
I want to live in a magnificent home with a swimming pool.

Je veux me marier avant que j’ai 30 ans.
I want to get married before I’m 30 years old.

Mon mari doit être un diplomate universitaire avec un emploi.
My husband must be a university diplomat with a job.

Je veux avoir 2 enfants, une fille et un garçon.
I want to have 2 children, one girl and one boy.

Peut-être je vais avoir plus d’enfants.
Maybe I am going to have more children.

Je veux acheter un Hummer.
I want to buy a Hummer.

Je veux voyager en Europe.
I want to travel in Europe.

Pour voyager en Europe, je dois économiser l’argent.
To travel in Europe, I must save money.

What a change to read something that has been really well thought out, instead of the usual "Help needed for translation" which really means "Translate it for me." Well done! A few suggestions follow.

Je dois habiter au Québec parce que je veux aller à l’université DE Montréal.

Je veux me marier avant que j’AIE 30 ans. – you need the subjunctive here.

Peut-être QUE je vais avoir plus d’enfants. You can also say: Je vais avoir plus d’enfants peut-être.

Native French speakers, can I ask you a question?

Recently, I bought this Philips electric shaver and in it was a piece of paper that had different languages on it. Here’s what the English said:

"Electromagnetic fields (EMF)
This Philips appliance complies with all standards regarding electromagnetic fields (EMF). If handled properly and in accordance with the instructions in this instruction manual, the appliance is safe to use according to scientific evidence available today."

On the inside, it had French and French (Canada). Why would they put two different dialects in here? Here is what is written under French:

France: Champs électromagnétiques
Cet appareil Philips est conforme à toutes les normes relatives aux champs électromagnétiques (CEM). Il répond aux règles de sécurité établies sur la base des connaissances scientifiques actuelles s’il est manipulé correctement et conformément aux instructions de ce mode d’emploi.

and here is what is written under Canada (I’m guessing Quebec?):

Québec : Champs électromagnétiques (EMF)
Cet appareil Philips est conforme à toutes les normes relatives aux champs électromagnétiques. Selon les observations scientifiques disponibles aujourd’hui, l’appareil est sûr, s’il est manipulé correctement selon les directives décrites dans le manuel.

My question is, what is the difference between the two? I see that, execpt for the first sentence, they have many different words. What is the reason for this? Can speakers of either dialect mutually comprehend the other?

There are really very few differences in these two texts. There might possibly be some legal reason that requires different wording in the two areas.

AM I BEING INGNORED? fired-finishing studies- no government assistance?

I live in Quebec, Canda. I had lost my job after 2 years.
Once I was unemployed I had filed a form to recieve employment ensurance, but I had forgotten to bring in my ROE, (record of employment) which delayed me a month. Once I had given it in, I asked "am I missing any paper work, is there anything I should do"? I was told no, I would be contacted in 21 business days.
After 16 business days, I had passed by to see if they have my status.
I was told me application has been canceled because I had not filed my bi-weekly papers stating what I am doing with my time.
I had to re-apply.
I had told the agent I am 24yrs old, and I had never completed high-school. Now that I am unemployed I had registered myself in an adult education school, to obtain my diploma (shouls take 1-1.50yrs)
I was told I am wasting my time with them, since they only pay until you find a job, and since I am styding FT I am obviously not looing to work.
I had visited EMPLOI QUEBEC, and my agent had told me that being that I placed myself in schooling, and wasnt reffered there by the government I would have a difficult time being approved for financial assistance.
I was told to wait until our next appt to see where I stand, and that worst case scenario I could get WELFARE= 45$ a week and a bus pass.

WHAT A JOKE!

Do you know how to get financial assitance, if you are attempting to finish high school as an adult?
All the loans and bursaries I am finding are for college/university.

If you are going through some financial difficulties you should contact your bank again and set up an emergency loan. In answer to your high school, have you thought about entering Academic Upgrading at a nearby college? I know that they offer the program in my area for free but it might differ in the province you come from.

I will tell you the best advice I can give you right at this moment. You should take welfare and the bus pass and then when you get into college or get your high school diploma you can pay it back. You should also do research on Academic Upgrading at your school and see if they can offer it for free, they will give you your high school diploma and offer you assistance along the way. However adult education is also the best alternative and you will get your diploma as well.

It sucks that you are going through this though, I hope that things start looking up for you and you pass your classes and get money that will help you with education. If you were to sign up for college and university I would take those bursaries because you do not have to pay them back.

Un tremplin vers l’emploi

Mon expérience au programme Éco-stage de Katimavik a été pour moi un moment marquant de mon parcours professionnel. Jai pu contempler des régions du Québec jusqualors inexplorées, vécu des moments extraordinaires auprès de gens très qualifiés, entrepris des projets visant la protection de la biodiversité, découvert de nouvelles passions et plus encore.
